A beautiful 14th February spent giving back! Our team volunteered at the Shelter Care Home in Koramangala, Bangalore supported by Need Base India (https://needbaseindia.org), sharing smiles, stories, and unforgettable moments with the children. Grateful for a day that strengthened both our impact and our team spirit. 🤝💙
The event was all about inspiring a spirit of volunteering and helping our team truly understand the impact of giving back. Spending time with the children at the Shelter Care Home reminded us of the joy, openness, and resilience that community engagement can bring. It brought our team closer, strengthening our bonds, encouraging collaboration, and giving us a shared sense of purpose. We also used the day to spark awareness around health and wellness, reflecting MedImpact India’s commitment as a healthcare organization to improving lives in every way we can. Most importantly, the time we spent with the children made a real difference to them and to us as well deepening our compassion and reminding us why these moments matter.
The event saw enthusiastic participation from leadership, IT Delivery Consultants, HR, Operations, and other cross‑functional teams, making it a truly unified effort across MedImpact India. The entire initiative was creatively designed to deliver an inspiring, curated social‑impact experience by our volunteering partner, LetsTagOn (www.LetsTagOn.com), whose support brought this meaningful initiative to life.
Key Highlights (bullet points):
- 🎨💛 Joyful colouring sessions with the little ones and heartfelt conversations + a health & wellness poster with the older kids—moments filled with creativity, curiosity, and smiles!
- 🎉🤝 Outdoor games, singing, dancing, and pure fun—so much energy that we honestly couldn’t tell who enjoyed it more…the children or our volunteers!
- ✨🙏 Wrapped up with a reflection circle and volunteers staying back to serve food—a beautiful, meaningful finish to an unforgettable day.
Culture & Values Reflected:
- Compassion with Impact – Every interaction with the children reinforced our commitment to serving the community with empathy and responsibility.
- Growth & Well‑being Leadership – This experience amplified our focus on learning, reflection, and championing health and wellness as a core part of who we are at MedImpact.
- Collaboration & Team Excellence – Cross‑functional teams came together with purpose and energy, demonstrating the strength of what we can achieve when we act as One MedImpact.
“My recent volunteering experience touched me deeply. Seeing and being with such pure and innocent souls made everything else fade away”.
