MedImpact India turned Valentine’s Day into a celebration of compassion and connection with children, filled with art, laughter, and unforgettable memories.
India — A celebration of love, kindness, joy, and laughter to the young ones.
This is what Valentine’s Day means to the MedImpact(GBS) India team as they spent an afternoon at a Shelter Care Home supported by Need Base India on February 14, 2026.
Volunteers of MedImpact(GBS) India team had a colouring activity with kids aged 6 to 8 years old.

“Their excitement, the way they held up their artwork with pride, and the pure joy on their faces reminded us how powerful small moments of attention and encouragement can be,” Vijayalakshmi “Viju” Purohit, Regional Human Resource Head for MedImpact India said.
For those aged 10 and above, they did a health and wellness themed poster-making activity. The afternoon was also filled with singing, dancing, and outdoor games. “It was impossible to tell who enjoyed it more………the children or our volunteers,” Viju added.
The celebration ended with a warm reflection circle where everyone shared their key takeaways. A feast was also shared afterwards.
“Love grows when shared. And on this Valentine’s Day, we felt it multiply,” Viju expressed.
The activity is in collaboration with Need Base India, and LetsTagOn.
